Thanks to the financial support of our partners at Razom.for.ukraine, we have successfully opened a new filtration station at the preschool educational institution in the Malynivka community, Kharkiv region. This important project is another step towards providing high-quality drinking water to the residents of a region that has suffered significant losses due to the war.
Malynivka is an urban-type village in the Chuhuiv district of Kharkiv region, located approximately 10 kilometers from Chuhuiv. During the fighting in 2022, Malynivka found itself near the front line, which led to regular shelling and damage to infrastructure.
The damage to infrastructure, particularly to water supply facilities, created additional difficulties for the local residents.
The station we have opened will provide clean drinking water to about 6,250 residents of the community, many of whom are children. This is especially important for preschools, as children need safe and quality water for their health, development, and well-being. Every drop of this water is not just a source of life — it is a symbol of hope for recovery and a better future for all the residents of the community.
