Velykyi Burluk, a village in Kharkiv region, has suffered significant destruction due to numerous attacks by Russian forces. Throughout the war, the village became a target of airstrikes, artillery shelling, and drone attacks. As a result, residential buildings were damaged, infrastructure was destroyed, and water supply facilities were severely harmed, complicating life for local residents.
Water supply became one of the most pressing issues. However, with the support of our partners, we were able to open a water filtration station that will provide clean drinking water to over 2,500 residents of the village. This project has become an important step toward recovery, providing access to this vital resource for life after the devastating destruction.
We are confident that together with the local residents, we will continue the reconstruction and move forward toward a better future for Velykyi Burluk and all of Ukraine.
