Project “Clean Water” City of Derhachi

Dergachi, near Kharkiv in northeastern Ukraine, has suffered significant losses due to the Russian-Ukrainian war. The city, close to the Russian border, has been heavily shelled, destroying homes, schools, administrative buildings, and infrastructure. Many residents were forced to flee due to constant danger.

Despite the destruction, local residents, volunteers, and state services are working to rebuild the city and provide humanitarian aid.

A water filtration station, installed with support from the “Razom for Ukraine” charity, has become a crucial part of restoring access to clean water. This station ensures safe drinking water amidst the destruction and unstable water supply caused by the war. Thanks to this effort, thousands in the Kharkiv region no longer need to worry about accessing safe water.
